In 2026 going into any news media you do with trepidation. The climate out there, especially in the digital world is awful. We are consumed with our own opinion, our own beliefs and values. Not a lot of listening is done in 2026, and there is plenty of misinformation and lies out there to either get angry with or to support our own already worked out agenda.

What we hope to do here is give a detailed editorial on the news that comes through every day. We will strictly fact check this from at least three sources for every editorial piece. We will use politically neutral sources as well as direct contact with the people involved in any stories we publish. Now, it may be that your political or ideological ideas are different from those posted here, but we believe in FACTS FIRST. We use a range of fact checkers, neutral sites such as Simple Politics and fullfact.org to source the information we use on any editorials. Everything will be FACT checked, and not based on emotional or pre-determined ideological stand points.

Our editorial articles will come from a range of journalists from various age, educational and geographical backgrounds where we can and our ethos is to build a fact based outlook on the news wherever it comes in from. You may not like this. Facts – REAL FACTS – may differ from you views or ideology, but we invite you read, to listen, to learn and maybe even think about your own views on the world.

We are not here to validate your view, or to argue with your view, just to comment our opinions on the FACTS. As with all media, you always have the off button if you don’t like what you read, or the share button of you do.
